Out of the 5 countries we visited on our 12 night Best of Scandinavia Celebrity cruise, Tallinn was my absolute favorite stop! It is a beautiful UNESCO world heritage site hosting one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Europe. We only had one day in this beautiful city but it’s certainly somewhere I’d consider going back to.
The best time to visit Tallinn
June to September is considered the best time to visit Tallinn with the least chance of rain. However, we visited in August and had a day full of stormy weather, don’t forget your raincoat in this region! If you’re okay bracing snowy days, Tallinn is considered one of the best traditional Christmas markets in Europe.
