As a resident Miamian I get asked all the time where to stay or eat by residents or anyone visiting for a weekend with their boo or girlfriends. My favorites are not going to be big chains or names you’ve even heard of, they are smaller boutique hotels that are super cute. Book any of these options outside of holiday weekends and during the week for the best rates.
The Confidante
If anyone asks me where to stay in Miami my first answer is always The Confidante! Perfectly located on the beach just North of the typical SOBE party scene, this hotel has over sized rooms, cute decor and a vibzy pool area. Moxy South Beach
I am so excited the the Moxy Hotel opened up a location in Miami! We stayed at their hotel in Osaka, Japan and really loved the entire experience. At this brand new Miami location in the heart of South Beach you’ll find fun & colorful decor, a rooftop bar & Mexican restaurant and a popping pool area. Even if you don’t get the chance to stay here pay them a visit for happy hour, you won’t be disappointed!
The Generator Hotel

Faena Miami Beach
Let’s talk about one of the most expensive & amazing hotels I’ve ever had the chance to stay in, Faena Miami Beach. This uber luxury hotel is a living museum with decor that will make you want to re do every room in your house. There’s even a 25 karat gold mammoth in the garden!
